The High Priestess
The High Priestess sits between black and white pillars at the threshold of a mysterious temple, a veil of pomegranates behind her concealing deeper mysteries. She holds the TORA scroll half-hidden in her robe; a crescent moon rests at her feet. She is the guardian of the unconscious, the keeper of hidden truth, accessible only through silence, patience, and the willingness to listen within.
⬆ Upright Meaning
Upright, the High Priestess calls you inward. This is not a time for external action but for deep listening — to your dreams, your instincts, the subtle inner knowing. The answers you seek are already within you, waiting in the quiet. Some things are still ripening beneath the surface; trust the process, cultivate patience, and pay close attention to what your intuition is telling you.
⬇ Reversed Meaning
Reversed, she warns that you are ignoring or suppressing your intuition — letting others' opinions drown out your own inner voice, or relying too heavily on logic when deeper knowing is needed. This disconnection from inner wisdom leads to confusion and poor decisions. It may also signal that a secret is about to surface, or that you've been avoiding your own emotional truth.
