The Moon
A full moon casts pale light on two towers, between which a winding path disappears into distant hills. A dog and a wolf howl at the moon; a crayfish emerges from a pool. Nothing in the moonlit landscape is quite what it seems — shadows distort, fears become monsters, and the subconscious sends up its strangest, most insistent messages.
⬆ Upright Meaning
Upright, the Moon warns that appearances are deceptive and the situation is more complex than it appears. The subconscious is particularly active now — fears, unresolved traumas, and anxieties are rising. Navigate through intuition rather than logic alone; be cautious of making major decisions based on incomplete information. This is also a time of heightened psychic sensitivity and vivid dreaming.
⬇ Reversed Meaning
Reversed, the Moon may indicate the fog is lifting and hidden truths are becoming clear. Confusion is resolving. Alternatively, you may be aggressively suppressing the inner life that the Moon represents — refusing to engage with your own emotional depths, which leads to distorted perception and poor judgment.
