The World
A dancing figure moves within a laurel wreath at the center of the world, holding two wands, the four elemental beings in the corners watching with benevolent presence. The dancer has integrated all the lessons of the Major Arcana's journey — all opposites, all challenges, all teachings — and now moves in the circle of completion, radiating wholeness.
⬆ Upright Meaning
Upright, the World is the ultimate achievement card — the triumphant conclusion of a long journey, the full integration of all you've learned and become. A major cycle is completing in profound, satisfying wholeness. You feel the deep joy of genuine accomplishment, of being truly at home in yourself and your life. This may also signal an important journey or the expansion of your world in a literal or figurative sense.
⬇ Reversed Meaning
Reversed, the World suggests an incompletion — falling just short of the finish line, or a project without genuine closure. You may be avoiding the final steps, or taking shortcuts that prevent real fulfillment. The card encourages you to see it through completely; don't let near-success become no-success through premature abandonment.
